If I had read the previous review, and let it influence my opinion about this theatre company- it would have made me miss out on some of the most anmazing experiences of my life. Working with Green Valley Theatre Company as a performer was a wonderfully supportive process, and the large community of people who come out to support this company is amazing. The director is an artistic tornado of a person- in the best way. He can do literally EVERYTHING, and does. He can musically direct, theatrically direct, play instruments, make sets, make costumes, make puppets… he kindof does it all. I felt supported by him, and artistically encouraged to push myself to do more- give more of myself, and stretch my acting and singing to its best. He gives this same support to his whole cast.
As a theatre patron- I have ALWAYS enjoyed the shows I’ve seen there. They are often the out of the box shows that no one does. They are always creative and witty, and unique.
The only drawback for this company, is the lack of a home theatre. They are actively looking, and want to find a new home. Until then they land wherever they can find an open stage. I encourage everyone to come find them wherever they land. It’s always worth the time and effort.

Worked here a couple of years ago. General experience was well. I’d say the biggest things is organization and the leadership.

Organization is mainly just due to not having a permanent space.

Artist director is definitely interesting. Felt like he was condescending most of the time. Were definitely times I felt belittled or singled out as well as to a few of the other women in the cast.
