Auditioned for a show here recently.

It was a tiny room full of 20+ people. The entire space was cluttered and dusty full of objects and unsafe narrow hallways. The audition floor was barely enough to cover more than 10 people. They made us all sweat to death in dusty and dirty circumstances for the dancing with little air. I could barely move at all and we all kept bumping into eachother.

Everyone auditioned in front of eachother with no accompanist. They used their Bluetooth speaker and relied on us to bring in our own tracks and YouTube videos. The speaker kept crashing.

They didn’t have a callback. They cast you without emailing formal offers or contacting so all the sudden it’s a surprise and you don’t know what’s going on and may already taken a role elsewhere by the time it’s all done. Maybe that’s just my experience but it wasn’t good. They also have very short rehearsal processes.

The leadership is personable and will be decent in conversation with you, but they really need more structure and to clean their space.
